The Buddha told them that they were careless and by explanation said that a man who earns money all his life without spending it is praised -- but he does not get ultimate happiness for all his earnings, because pleasures of the senses are impermanent , hollow, false and damaging. However those who practice the teaching of the Buddha properly for 10 years, 9 years, 8 years, 7 years, 6 years, 5 years, 4 years, 3 years, 2 years, 1 year w ill go on to live for 100 years . . . 100,000 years in ultimate happiness of enlightenment in its various stages Even those who practise in earnest for 10 months . . . a single month, half a month, 10 days and nights . . . single day and night, he will go on to live 100 years . . . 100,000 years in ultimate happiness.
