A.10_084 Byaakara.na Sutta A monk must abandon the following ten traits in order to make progress in the Dhammavinaya: 1. anger; 2. grudge; 3. being a detractor of others' virtues; 4. comparison of oneself with those of higher virtue; 5. envy; 6. stinginess; 7. boastfulness; 8. pretence; 9. being of peverse desires, and; 10. being of muddled wits.
