A.10_021 Siiha Sutta Just as the lion surveys the four direction's in the evening and roars, the Tathaagata has ten virtues which are his lion's roar: 1. knowing criteria (.thaana) and lack of criteria (a.thaana); 2. knows the results of various practices in past, future and present; 3. knows the benefit-bringing mechanisms (pa.tipada); 4. knows the world by its elements; 5. knows beings according to their dispositions; 6. knows the strength and weakness of beings' faculties (their disposition for enlightenment); 7. knows impurity, radiance, exit from absorptions, liberation, concentration and attainment; 8. knows the recollection of His previous lifetimes and their details; 9. knowing the arising and falling of beings in the cycle of existence, and; 10. knowledge of the end of enlightenment. 38/056 Dasaka Nipaata, Pa.thama Pa.n.naasaka A"nguttara A.i.
