AN.VII.48 Sa.myoga Sutta Both men and women are enamoured with the marks of their own gender and also those of the opposite gender, namely: 1. inner gender features; 2. manners; 3. gestures; 4. attire; 5. predjudices; 6. voice, and; 7. ornamentation. Such enamourment is a fetter which prevents them from escaping the clutches of their gender.
