AN.IV.244 Seyya Sutta There are four ways of lying down:
1. lying like a corpse (i.e. on one's back);
2. lying like a consumer of sense-pleasure (i.e. on one's left side);
3. lying like a lion (i.e. on one's right side), and; 4. lying like a Tathaagata (i.e. aloof from sense-desires, entering the first to fourth absorptions [jhaana]).
