AN.IV.40 | Udaayi Sutta | Asked whether the Buddha praised the practice of sacrifices, the Buddha replies that he does not praise the following four types of sacrifice: 1. sacrifice of oxen; 2. sacrifice of goats and sheep; 3. sacrifice of pigs, and; 4. sacrifice of other animals.
