A.10_092 Vera Sutta The noble ones are able to overstep five sorts of dangerous karmic retribution: 1. the retribution of killing; 2. the retribution of stealing; 3. the retribution of adultery; 4. the retribution of lying, and; 5. the retribution of drinking alcohol. Instead they will attain the four factors of enlightenment: 1. steadfast faith in the Buddha; 2. steadfast faith in the Dhamma; 3. steadfast faith in the Sa"ngha, and; 4. unblemished self-discipline unshakeable by craving or false view which has meditation as its aim.
