A.10_028 Dutiya Mahaapa~nhaa Sutta A group of laymen from Kaja"ngala ask the nun Kaja"ngala the solution to the question, introduction and answer for the numbers 1 to 10. The nun replies that "1" is that "all animals are united in subsisting on food"; "2" is "corporeality and mind"; "3" is "the three feelings (vedanaa)"; "4" is "the four forms of sustenance (aahaara)"; "5" is "the five aggregates (khandha)"; "6" is "the six senses"; "7" is "the seven modes of existence of consciousness (vi~n~naa.na.thiti)"; "8" is "the eight worldly vicissitudes (lokadhamma)"; "9" is "the nine modes of existence of beings (sattaavaasa)", and; "10" is "the Tenfold Path of Unwholesomeness (akusalakammapada)".
