A.10_023 Kaaya Sutta Some evils such as wrongful actions can be avoided with the body. Some evils such as wrongful speech cannot be avoided with the body, but can be avoided in speech. Ten evils which cannot be avoided by body or speech can be overcome by wisdom, namely: 1. greed (lobha); 2. hatred (dosa); 3. delusion (moha); 4. anger (kodha); 5. enmity (upanaaha); 6. depreciation of others' worth (makkha); 7. spite (pa.laasa); 8. stinginess (macchariya); 9. envy (issa), and; 10. illwill. 38/075 Dasaka Nipaata, Pa.thama Pa.n.naasaka A"nguttara A.i.
