AN.VII.9 Pahaana Sutta It is a monk's duty to follow the Brahma-faring for the relinquishing of the seven fetters: 1. elation; 2. disappointment; 3. false view; 4. doubt; 5. stubbornness; 6. craving for existence, and; 7. ignorance.
