Those endowed with these virtues, whether male or female, the wise say that such a person is not poor, their life is not empty of usefulness -- thus a person of wisdom, who recollects the Buddha's words should cultivate faith, self-discipline, tranquility [passadhi], making himself faithful and seeing the Dhamma. |
