AN.IV.225a Pa.thama Magga Sutta Those possessing the following four traits bring destruction and damage to the fool [bala] and makes him receive blame from the wise and attracts demerit to him:
1. False View [micchaa di.t.thii];
2. False Intention [micchaa sa"nkappa];
3. False Speech [micchaa vaacaa], and;
4. False Action [micchaa kammanta];
However, those possessing the following four virtues protects the wise one from destruction and damage, from criticism by the wise and attracts much merit to him:
1. Right View [sammaa di.t.thii]; 2. Right Intention [sammaa sa"nkappa];
3. Right Speech [sammaa vaacaa], and;
4.Right Action [sammaa kammanta].
