AN.IV.183 Suta Sutta Vassakaara says that he believes that it is worthy to speak of all one has:
1. seen;
2. heard;
3. supposed, and;
4. understood.
The Buddha disagrees saying that it is not the source of one's knowledge that makes it worthy or repeating or otherwise. If repeating it leads to more wholesomeness and less unwholesomeness, it should be repeated. If it leads to less wholesomeness and more unwholesomeness it should not be repeated. See also: MN 58.
