|AN.IV.61||Pattakamma Sutta||One's expenditure should be divided into four parts: |
1.to support yourself and family dependents; 2. reserve in case of emergency; 3. payment of taxes and duties, and; 4. for the support of good deeds.
Those practising such self-discipline for expenditure can expect:
1. wealth [bhoga]; 2. honour [yasa]; 3. long life [aayu] and; 4. heaven.
As for the deserving kamma accruing to those dividing up their expenditure in this way are fourfold:
1. the endowment of faith [saddha sampada]; 2. the endowment of self-discipline [siila sampada]; 3. the endowment of self-sacrifice [caaga sampada], and; 4. the endowment of wisdom [pa~n~naa sampada]
