AN.IV.33 Siiha Sutta Just as lowly creatures are afraid, quaking and trembling at the sound of the Lion's roar -- hole dwellers making for their burrows, water dwellers making for the water, forest dwellers making for the forest and birds taking to their wings . . . when the Buddha arises in the world teaching:
1. the nature of individuality [sakkaaya]; 2. the origin of individuality; 3. the cessation of individuality, and; 4. the way to an end of individuality.
. . . even the angels complacent about their high level of existence will tremble in fear, roused from their individuality.
