AN.IV.23 Loka Sutta The things that the Tathagatha has know consist of the following: 1. the world [loka]; 2. the origin of the world [lokasamudaya]; 3. the cessation of the world [lokanirodha], and; 4. the path to the cessation of the world [lokanirodhagaaminiipa.tipada].
The Tathagatha is so-called because he has seen, heard, known, felt, experienced, searched for and researched all the worlds, was enlightened and will attain parinirvana at night and all the words he says in between are true. He says what he does [yathaavadii tathaakaaraa] and does what he says [yathaakarii tathavadii]
